Raised in beautiful Metchosin, BC, Christina is the product of two loud, ambitious German-Canadians. After graduating high school Christina left to travel the globe, an adventure that lasted five years and is a story best told over cocktails. Enthusiasm for homes, design and renovations started at a young age helping with every aspect of the family’s speculation development business. Together with husband and business partner Chris Rothery, the two founded Onlyhuman in 2007. A strong belief in life long education includes studying Sociology and Asia Pacific Studies at UVic as well as completing her Realtor’s license. Spare time is spent renovating the couple’s converted train station or digging in the garden with their Welsh corgi, Sadie.
