Growing up just outside of Vancouver in the French quarter of Maillardville, Chris knew early on that he had a passion for design. Chris spent his younger years treeplanting throughout the backcountry of BC and dabbling in graphic design until he turned his focus to furniture when completing the Camosun Fine Furniture program in 2001. Chris worked in the custom furniture industry until he launched his own workshop in 2005 where he honed his skill and knowledge of quality furnishings through challenging fine furniture commissions. Together with wife and business partner Christina, Chris loves curating the collection at Onlyhuman. If Chris is lucky to find a few spare moments they are spent fly-fishing or trying to convince people that the Welsh Corgi is a medium sized dog.
